205 Live is gearing up to host a couple of exciting singles clashes: August Gray loses to Tony Nes and Jake Atlas prepares to face Ashante “You” Adonis.
With three wins in the last four matches, Adonis is suddenly one of the purple brand’s hottest superstars. He seems to have taken Brian Kendrick’s teachings to heart, as his crude abilities are now complemented by improved call-to-call attention.
He will be opposed by Atlas, who recently defeated Nese.
Two weeks ago, Gray missed the opportunity to end Mansour’s undefeated streak with a score when he broke the referee’s rhythm and soon his opponent turned away.
Gray also recently won a controversial victory over Aria Daivari using ropes as leverage and will now have to fight the Persian Prince’s partner, Tony Nese.
Daivari interestingly raised Gray’s hand when Gray defeated Adonis, perhaps admiring how The Life of the Party broke the rules against Daivari himself. What happens when Gray collides with Nese?
