Kyle O'Reilly vs. Adam Cole (Unauthorized Match)

Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole settle their uncontrollable rivalry on the only terms NXT agrees to: so that the black and gold brand is not responsible for their safety.

The former Undisputed ERA brothers are set to fight an unsanctioned match in the Night 2 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver co-main event on Thursday, April 8th.

The bond formed over the years of friendship was shattered overnight at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, when Cole stunned the NXT universe by hitting O’Reilly with a super-kick. The former NXT champion took it one step further, incapacitating his former friend with a brutal blow to the steel steps.

Although he was barred from action, O’Reilly refused to hold on to him, and he returned to Capitol Wrestling Center to cost Cole his NXT title match against Finn Balor.

The bad blood only intensified from there, leading to an altercation with the police, and later to an uncontrollable skirmish at the gym where O’Reilly trained.

Angered by the superstars threatening to rip the fabric of the black and gold brand, NXT CEO William Regal forced O’Reilly and Cole to sit down by offering an unsanctioned match in which NXT would not be held accountable for anything that happened.

Determined to end each other, both men were more than happy to go along with the condition – even though O’Reilly still hadn’t gotten a medical examination. There is nothing forbidden about what numbers can be a barbaric brawl, as the NXT and WWE are not responsible for what happens.

O’Reilly is determined to get his soul back after selling it for The Undisputed ERA, while Cole tries to show that the UE is only holding him back.

Which superstar will show up at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver?
