Onei Lorcan and Danny Burch are no longer NXT Tag Team champions, thanks in part to Carrion Cross’s brutality.
Lorcan won’t have to wait long for the reckoning against Cross as they hit the NXT heads-up this Wednesday night.
Lorcan & Burch retained the NXT Tag Team titles last week despite the unlikely but powerful pair of Cross and Finn Balor that collapsed. A successful title defense came at a cost, however, as Birch suffered a shoulder injury from Cross.
With Lorcan & Burch unable to defend their titles, NXT CEO William Regal had no choice but to strip them of their gold, but Lorcan is not happy with the decision.

He will have a chance to channel that frustration onto the undefeated Cross, who will have to be careful not to lose sight of Lorcan in his NXT title fight against Balor just two weeks later at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
