205 Live has a couple of singles scheduled to attend, with Guru Raaj facing off against Asher Hale in a rematch last week and Ari Sterling and Jake Atlas losing the main event.
Atlas has won impressive wins against the likes of LA Knight, Cameron Grimes and Ashante “You” Adonis, splitting their time between NXT and 205 Live, although Friday’s encounter with Sterling will mark Atlas’s first match against the purple brand since April.
While Atlas was absent, Sterling quickly established himself as one of the brand’s best heavyweights, displaying a terrific offensive attack and toppling strong superstars like Hale and Grayson Waller.
What happens when two of WWE’s most acrobatic contestants come out in the spotlight?
Though he remained depressed after Raaj rolled and pinned him seven days ago, Hale has the opportunity to redeem himself when two exciting young weight cruisers collide again. Raaj, who pushed Finn Balor to the limit at the Superstar Spectacle in January, earned his first WWE win, barely beating Hale on the swing last Friday.
After a promising start since joining the WWE, Hale ran into a hurdle and started losing five games. Is the pressure growing on the exciting new grappler, and how far will he go to get back into the winning column?
Don’t miss out on the exciting 205 Live, which airs Friday at 10.9 C on Peacock in the US and WWE all over the world!
