Santos Escobar ascends to Undisputed supremacy

NXT Heavyweight Champion Santos Escobar climbed above the NXT heavyweight champion Jordan Devlin in the thrilling Ladder Match to become the true NXT Heavyweight Champion.

Their titles hung high above their heads, and the two superstars fought from the first bell. Soon the “Emperor Lucha Libre” turned the ladder into a weapon and inflicted serious damage on the Irish ace both inside and outside the ring. The resilient Devlin fired back where he was able, including inflicting DDT on his opponent as he was knocked off the steps.

Catching the attack, Devlin soon struck backwards, which sent his opponent down the stairs in full force, followed shortly after by a devastating lunar assault from the top of the stairs. But just as The Irish Ace looked ready to take over the titles, Legado del Fantasma emerged and launched an all-out assault on Devlin.

But when Escobar rose to claim the titles, the resurrected Devlin came in with a second staircase and performed the Spanish Fly, which sent his booty to the canvas.

Within minutes, the two determined superstars were once again at the top of the ladder and were fighting their hardest for glory. But in the last seconds, it was Escobar who hit Devlin with his head, forcing him to fly down the stairs and collapse for a second. This left Escobar to claim titles and become champion of the champions.
