Tony D’Angelo def. Dexter Loomis
Before the match, Dexter Loomis drew another drawing for Tony D’Angelo, in which D’Angelo slept with fish at the ring.
“The Made Man of NXT” was not happy with the caricature and let Loomis know with a few powerful supplexes.
The two continued to exchange blows until D’Angelo dropped Loomis’s neck onto the ropes. D’Angelo then went to get the easel to use as a weapon, but the referee stopped him. As the referee returned the easel to the outside of the ring, D’Angelo jumped at the chance by poking Loomis in the eye and preparing him to swing the power Islam and the pin.
Odyssey Jones & Jacket Time def. Diamond mine
The alliance between Odyssey Jones and Jacket Time proved to be powerful, as the trio finally paid off on Diamond Mine after weeks of attacks.
The Creed Brothers defeated Jacket Time from the start, despite a barrage of attacks from Kushida. Ikemen Jiro finally tagged Jones and leveled the playing field.
Roderick Strong tried to rally against the bigger Jones with an impressive Samoan fall, but Time Jacket came to the rescue and pulled The Creed Brothers off their apron. While Malcolm Bevens was arguing with the referee, Strong received a couple of punches from Kushida and Jiro before being knocked down by a splash from Jones.
Xyon Quinn def. Andre Chase
Xion Quinn simply overpowered Andre Chase, leveling him with a massive clothesline. Chase regained his strength for a while after sending Quinn into the ring post and hitting the neckstand, but the momentum did not last long as Quinn delivered a thunderous jackhammer for 1-2-3.
Quinn did not have time to enjoy the victory as Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde stormed the ring for an unexpected assault. Quinn held out as hand-to-hand combat spilled over into the ring until Santos Escobar grabbed him from behind, hitting Quinn on a steel ramp.
Cameron Grimes forces Duke Hudson to fold
Enraged after losing to Cameron Grimes at his own poker room, Duke Hudson sat down with Rich Man in the NXT for one last hand of Texas Hold’em.
After four rounds of betting, Grimes tricked Hudson again to win the pot, pushing Hudson to the brink of the game. Hudson began to beat Grimes, smashing him across the table before pulling out a pair of scissors from under the ring to cut off Grimes’s beard.
Kyle O’Reilly And von Wagner def. Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen
Kyle O’Reilly and von Wagner finally found themselves on the same page, beating Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs.
The two couples looked the same in a bitter struggle, but O’Reilly and Wagner began to look like a well-oiled machine. The duo teamed up to defeat Briggs and Jensen with a flying knee from O’Reilly outside the ring and a double bottom hook from Wagner to claim the win.
Persia Pirotta def. Gabby Stevens and Jenna Levy in a 2v1 handicap match
Persia Pirotta’s strength was fully demonstrated when she beat Gabby Stevens and Jenna Levy in a 2v1 handicap match. Pirotta punched the two athletes, lifting them both onto their shoulders for a Samoan drop, before punching the seated powerslam to earn a pin.
Raquel Gonzalez vs. Dakota Kai ended without competition
The bad blood between Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai was evident from the start as the two superstars held back nothing in the fiery duel. Gonzalez immediately took it to Kai, hitting her against the outer barrier and throwing her onto the ring apron.
The two fierce rivals went to great lengths to destroy each other. In the end, irascibility boiled over as Kai tossed Gonzalez face forward into a bare lanyard. Kai then went for his shovel, but Big Mami Cool stopped the onslaught and overturned the tables, grabbing the shovel away from Kai.
When Gonzalez wanted to bury Kai, chaos erupted as Toxic Attraction rushed in to knock Gonzalez down. Four women destroyed Gonzalez before Cora Jade joined the fray to help Big Mami Cool.
The duo rallied for a moment, but were eventually defeated. Just as it seemed that Kai and Toxic Attraction would destroy Gonzalez and Jade forever, an injured Zoe Stark appeared on crutches at the top of the gangway. Stark held out one of her crutches to tag teammate Io Shirai, who rushed into the ring to punish and send the attackers backstage.
