Aoife Valkyrie def. Stevie Turner
Aoife Valkyrie claims that the wings she wears during her mesmerizing march to the ring represent “the ability to adapt to change and victory.”
And if her fight against debuting Stevie Turner is any sign, Valkyrie won’t want to interrupt her pre-match routine anytime soon.
Turner nearly earned a disappointing victory with a unique backstab, but Valkyrie seemed to be elated after being punched in the face as she fought back with a series of punches and earned another victory by pushing her opponent headfirst into the canvas with her foot down. from the top rope.
Teoman def. Josh Morrell
The impressive intros were something of a topic this week at NXT UK as Teoman also took over the NXT UK universe right from the opening note of his encrypted intro theme, pointing out what he calls his “evil eye” and swaggering his way to the square circle to fight Josh Morrell.
Not much is known about Teoman, but he clearly does not particularly appreciate sportsmanship, as he surprised Morrell with a blow to the face and viciously jumped onto his opponent’s ankles.
After a couple of double punches to Morrell’s back and chest, Teoman turned the d-pad back to win the offshoot.
Kay Lee Rae and Isla Done quarreled with Meiko Satomura and Emilia McKenzie
As NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Rae immediately reminded everyone, NXT UK took her request literally when she asked for “Best in the World” by signing Meiko Satomura, who was defeated by the Dread Queen of Scots. title fight.
The self-proclaimed “eternal champion” was immediately interrupted by the return of Emilia Mackenzie, who said she was waiting for the perfect time to return and vowed to cross paths with Ray.
As Mackenzie was preparing to enter the ring, she was suddenly stunned by Isla Dawn, who brought down her right hands and boots on Mackenzie, but when Dawn held Mackenzie in place for Ray, Satomura entered the ring, and she and Mackenzie kicked Ray and Dawn out of the square circle after wild fight.
After the scuffle, Assistant General Manager Sid Scala caught up with Ray and Dawn behind the scenes and informed them that they would be fighting Satomura and Mackenzie in a team match at the NXT UK Prelude next week!
NXT UK Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly def. Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan
Due to what can be mildly called “creative differences,” Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan definitely seem to be working together.
Much to Jordan’s chagrin, Williams has repeatedly resorted to devious methods to gain victories in recent years, while Jordan has repeatedly insisted that they achieve fair and honest victories.
And after years of working together, Williams and Jordan’s partnership collapsed at the most inopportune moment: right in the middle of their first-ever NXT UK Tag Team match against Pretty Deadly.
When the fight reached a frantic pace and Williams and Jordan were unable to remove the champions, Williams fell into despair when the official was knocked out, throwing one of the titles to Jordan and telling him to use it as a weapon.
In the aftermath of the argument, Jordan convinced Williams to drop the championship momentarily, but Williams soon picked him up and shockingly punched Jordan in the back, putting a rather deadly blow on Jordan with spilled milk to win.
