Money in the bank of guests “Miz TV” brings chaos
Meese and his good friend John Morrison hosted Drew McIntyre, Riddle and Ricochet before the Money in the Bank Ladder match. The arrival of AJ Styles & Omos brought even more chaos as the colossus threw The Original Bro off the top of the ladder.
John Morrison def. Ricochet on countdown
Ricochet and Johnny Drip Drip fend off their perilous encounter last week with a new set of acrobatic stunts and antics thanks to The Miz’s presence at the ring. After repelling the highlighter’s attack and sending him flying to the barricade, Morrison took advantage of the excellent transmission from the wheelchair-bound A-Lister to ensure a countless victory.
Nia Jax, Shaina Basler, Eva Marie and Doudrop def. Nikki Ash, Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Naomi
With the wounds still fresh from WWE Money in the Bank, Eva Marie, Doudrop, Shaina Basler, and Nia Jax have formed an unlikely alliance against Asuka, Naomi, Nikki Ash and Alexa Bliss. “Almost a superhero” fought bravely again, but the Samoan blob from Force Majeure sealed the victory and allowed Eve Marie to gloat in the beauty of the Eve-Lucia.
Mustafa Ali def. Mansoor
Mustafa Ali’s lessons for his new protégé Mansour led to the entry into the ring as the two fighters fought face to face on a red stamp. The slightest hesitation as Mansour tried to seize the opportunity, with his opponent’s foot stuck in the ropes, allowed Ali to jump into the attack.
Drew McIntyre, def. Jinder waved on disqualification
Ginder Mahal has set his sights on killing his former friend Drew McIntyre and has shown tonight that he intends to do so by any means necessary. After overcoming a brutal blow to the announcement table, the Scottish warrior was ready to deliver claymore to Mahal until Veer and Shani intervened on his behalf and ended the match with a disqualification. MacIntyre walked away victorious, but Mahal and two of his high-ranking associates left with the message delivered.
Lucha House Party def. MACHINES AND T-STARTS
MACE & T-BAR are tasked with crushing the Raw Tag Team unit and showcasing the devastation they can bring against the Lucha House Party. After several crushing blows from the massive duo Lins, Dorado crashed from the sky with a hurricane towards T-BAR, resulting in a stunning victory.
Riddle def. Aj styles
The visibly injured Riddle refused to give up the opportunity to prove himself in the fight with A.J. Styles even after Omos made an earlier promotion. The original Bro turned to some kind of Karate Kid inspiration to try and overcome his lame ankle, but the pitiless punishment from the Phenomenal seemed to be about to decide Riddle’s fate. The timely arrival of The Viking Raiders distracted the Raw Tag Team champions and allowed Riddle to shock his opponent with the winning amount.
Jackson Riker and R-True Def. Cedric Alexander and Elias
A planned team match between Jackson Riker and R-Truth and Cedric Alexander and Elias was disrupted by 24/7 champion Akira Tozawa running into the ring, distracting Truth’s attention from the ring. Riker fought valiantly to overcome the difficulties and took full advantage of the first debut presented. Still feeling the aftermath of last week’s Strap Match collision, Elias decided to walk away from his partner and left Riker to fight his way to victory.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods def. Bobby Lashley and MVP
MVP and Bobby Lashley got what they wanted with a team match, but as many of The New Day contenders have learned over the years, be careful what you want. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods took to the skies early to take the offensive. After the former WWE champion defeated The All Mighty, Kingston was able to fend off the attack to win Trouble in Paradise MVP.
